Privacy Policy

Effective October 7, 2026 · Last updated October 7, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information Nexboro (“Nexboro”, “we”, “us”) collects, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. It applies to nexboro.com, the preview sites we publish, and the website design, hosting and related services we provide (the “Services”).

Short version: we collect what we need to build, host and bill for your website. Card payments are handled by Stripe, so we never see or store your full card number. We don't sell personal information, and we don't use advertising trackers on nexboro.com.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Contact details, such as your name, business name, email address, phone number and mailing address, when you email or call us, request a preview or sign up.
  • Business content you send for your website: services, prices, hours, service areas, photos, logos, text and reviews you ask us to display.
  • Account and domain details needed to run your site, such as domain registrar or DNS information.
  • Communications with us, including emails, call notes and change requests.

Payment information

Payments are processed by Stripe. When you pay, you give your card or bank details directly to Stripe. We receive limited information from Stripe, such as your name, billing address, the last four digits and brand of your card, its expiration date, and your payment history. We do not receive or store full card numbers or security codes.

Publicly available business information

To prepare free website previews for local businesses, we collect information that businesses publish themselves, such as the business name, phone number, address, hours, services, website and public customer reviews (shown with the reviewer's first name only). We use this information to contact the business about our Services and to build its preview.

Information collected automatically

  • Server logs. Like most websites, our servers record the IP address, browser type, pages requested, referring page and date and time of each visit. We use logs to keep the Services secure and working.
  • Cookies. nexboro.com does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Our team sign-in area uses a strictly necessary session cookie to keep authorized users signed in.

2. How we use information

  • To design, build, publish, host and maintain websites and to make the changes you request.
  • To create and show free previews to the businesses they were made for.
  • To process payments, send invoices and receipts, and manage subscriptions.
  • To respond to questions and provide customer support.
  • To contact businesses about our Services by phone or email. You can ask us to stop at any time.
  • To protect the Services, prevent fraud and abuse, and keep our systems secure.
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

3. How we share information

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only:

  • With service providers who help us run the Services, such as our payment processor (Stripe), hosting and server providers, domain registrars and DNS providers, and email providers. They may use the information only to provide services to us.
  • On your website. Content you ask us to publish, such as your business name, phone number and photos, is public by design.
  • For legal reasons, when we believe in good faith that disclosure is required by law, court order or legal process, or is needed to protect the rights, property or safety of Nexboro, our customers or others.
  • In a business transfer, such as a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this Privacy Policy.
  • With your consent or at your direction.

4. Websites we host for customers

When we host a website for a customer, that customer decides what the site collects (for example, through a contact or quote form) and is responsible for its own privacy notice to its visitors. We process that information on the customer's behalf only to deliver the form submission and run the site. Visitors to a customer's site should contact that business with privacy questions. We will help our customers respond to such requests.

5. How long we keep information

We keep information for as long as we need it to provide the Services and for legitimate business purposes, such as keeping accounting and tax records, resolving disputes and enforcing agreements. When a customer cancels, we keep the site files for up to 30 days so they can be handed over, then delete them unless the law requires us to keep them. If a business asks us to remove its preview or stop contacting it, we take the preview down and keep only the minimum needed to honor that request.

6. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect information, including HTTPS encryption on every site we host, restricted access to our systems and strong authentication for our team. Payment card data is handled by Stripe, which is certified to PCI DSS Level 1. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your choices and rights

  • Access, correction and deletion. You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it.
  • Marketing. You can ask us to stop contacting you about our Services at any time by replying to any message, telling us on a call, or emailing us. Every marketing email includes a way to opt out.
  • Previews. A business can ask us to remove its preview site at any time.
  • State privacy rights. Depending on where you live (for example, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia or Nevada), you may have additional rights, such as the right to know, delete or correct personal information and to opt out of its sale or use for targeted advertising. We don't sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

To make a request, email us at the address in the Contact us section. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we will respond within the time required by applicable law.

8. Children's privacy

Our Services are for businesses and are not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 where local law sets a higher age). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Where information is processed

Nexboro is based in the United States and our servers are located in the United States. If you contact us from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and change the “Last updated” date. If we make material changes, we will notify customers by email before they take effect.
